Chris is a graduate of Ohio University and The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association and National Sheriff’s Association.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Chris explored several careers. A former member of the United States Army, Chris went on to become a law enforcement officer and member of the Forsyth County Sheriff Office Special Response Team. During his time with the sheriff’s office he received several awards including an honor for saving someone’s life.
Chris has also owned and managed several small businesses including an online sports nutrition business and industrial metal retail business. Chris also has experience as an auto service industry manager and enjoyed being able to consistently and dynamically grow his businesses despite economic conditions.
Currently, Chris focuses his practice on the area of Family Law and Domestic Relations. With his public service and management background, Chris has developed the skills needed to look at things from his clients’ perspective and appropriately address their needs.
Chris enjoys guiding clients through the processes to resolve the conflicts that arise both between current/former spouses as well as other domestic arrangements and relations.
Additionally, Chris has also worked on cases involving business litigation, commercial properties, hospitality law, and consumer law and landlord / tenant issues.
Outside of his law practice, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and assisting his son’s Boy Scout Troop as a committee member and with activity planning and camping.
